Nathalie Perakis-Valat

Nathalie Perakis-Valat, a graduate of HEC, was not destined to become a photographer. This passion seized her in 2010 when she arrived in Shanghai during the World Expo. For six years, she had the joy of immersing herself in this fascinating country and working on several series focusing on humanity and nature.

Her work has been featured in several group exhibitions in Asia as well as solo exhibitions in Shanghai, at the Atelier Yann Arthus Bertrand, and at the Silo in Marseille.

In 2024, she presents "Rêveries bocaliques", a photographic series strongly inspired by nature, reflecting the artist's sensitivity and her taste for experimentation.

In 2025 she pursues this exploration of glass and nature by collaborating with Atelier George, a studio specializing in glassblowing. From this encounter emerged the series "Transparences éphémères".
