Having lived in Hong Kong for many years and being passionate about history and art in all its forms, we are delighted to present, for this 8th edition, COLOURS of HOPE, a selection of 30 artists. These creators have generously joined our project to support the Children of the
Mekong association, bringing colours and hope into the lives of underprivileged children.
Among the artists showcased in
COLOURS of HOPE, half are French and fit perfectly into the artistic programming of the French May festival. We are also thrilled to gather local and international talents.
COLOURS of HOPE is an invitation to explore the infinite palette of human emotions.
Colours transform our perception of the world, awakening our sensitivity and stirring our emotions. By integrating colours into our lives, the artists encourage us to envision a more vibrant and intense world. Their colourful works stimulate our imagination and positively
influence our mood. Each piece displayed here is a window open to joy and hope. The artists have captured the very essence of hope through vibrant colours and inspiring compositions, showing us the way to a brighter and more optimistic future, which we also dream of for the
underprivileged
Children of the Mekong.

We would like to warmly thank two individuals who have partnered with us in this endeavour:

Christel Villepelet

A guide, exhibition curator, and volunteer curator for Children of the Mekong in Hong Kong and Paris, Christel has been working since the first edition in 2017 to organize artistic exhibitions in collaboration with artists and the association, benefiting the Children of the
Mekong. Living in France, she generously responded to our call to invite seven artists from France and Belgium to participate in COLOURS of HOPE.

Delphine Canard-Moreau

An art enthusiast and collector, Delphine has leveraged her privileged relationships with galleries and artists to enrich the exhibition COLOURS of HOPE as a consulting curator, bringing added value to its preparation. She was also responsible for putting together the 7th edition, RE-SHAPE, which took place in May 2023 at WHITE BOX @ SOHO HOUSE.
