Having lived in Hong Kong for over 20 years and being passionate about history and art in all its forms, we are delighted to present, for this 9th edition, ART ACROSS BOUNDARIES, a multicultural, mixed media art exhibition featuring the works of more than 30 international and local artists united by a shared commitment to social impact through art.
This edition celebrates creativity that transcends borders. Through their photographs, paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media creations, artists explore the transformative power of art, to connect people and cultures beyond geopolitical or societal boundaries. Their pieces illuminate personal and collective stories—expressing hope, resilience, and unity through vibrant colour and form.
Echoing the mission of Children of the Mekong, ART ACROSS BOUNDARIES reminds us that creativity has no limits. Each artwork serves as a bridge—connecting people through emotion, dialogue, and cultural exchange—while contributing to a brighter future for underprivileged children in Southeast Asia.
We would like to warmly thank Christel Villepelet, in particular, who have partnered with Children of the Mekong, in this endeavour, started and accompanies this ART project, since 2017, in Hong Kong and in Paris.

Christel is a historical, artistic city guide, as well as, an exhibition curator, for Children of the Mekong in Hong Kong and Paris, but not only. Christel leaves in Paris, and generously responded to our call by inviting ten artists from France and Belgium to participate in ART ACROSS BOUNDARIES exhibition.
