Tomoaki Katsuba is a multiple award-winning Japanese photographic artist based in Hong Kong. Specialising in landscape, cityscape, and street photography, his work explores the harmony and contrast among nature, the built environment, and urban life. From serene landscapes and vibrant cityscapes to intimate individual stories, he reveals the ever-changing dialogue among these elements.

Recognised in prestigious international photography competitions and global publications, Tomoaki’s artwork is defined by unique motifs, compelling perspectives, a distinctive use of light and shadow, and a refined editing style. His ability to blend photographic realism with an almost painterly aesthetic gives his work a timeless and dreamlike quality, with rich atmosphere and emotional depth.
